There are so many people who have helped me on my quest to find my roots, but first on my list of thanks is my mother. She got me started, and much of the information here is from her research. We work together often, she works on my side of the family while I work on my husband's side. She has been successful in finding numerous ancestors since I merged our databases, which means that things were out of date when I got this page ready for the net. 8^( Thanks to her help though, I can now provide our children with a complete list of ancestors back 4 generations and only 2 sets of grandparents missing in the 5th generation back.

Next would be Aunt Gwen, she provided me with much of the Yunker genealogy. And cousin Philip has kept me updated with current relatives on this branch.

As for the Bricker side, much of my information was provided by cousin Doreen. And through the internet I've connected with 2 other cousins, Jean and Gene, who filled in many holes back in the early 1800's. A move by my in-laws provided me with a great many photos and stories as we reminisced while packing up all that had accumulated over 40 years in their home. Sitting with Aunt Janie and listening to her stories has also cleared up some mystieries.

I have to also thank Mary and Jean for their help in finding my way around the library. Such a wonderful source of information! I encourage all of you to check out your local library, you never can tell what you might find there. If you get a chance to go to Salt Lake City, UT or Fort Wayne, IN you will find volumes of information there.

My husband is in need of thanks as well, for all he has put up with as I spend my time searching the internet. And he so willingly helps me hunt for tombstones -- he has even consented to take our next vacation in Pennsylvania in hopes of finding out more at Brickerville. (Surely there must be some information there!)

And last, but certainly not least would be my friends at mIRC. I enjoy the new family I found at #GeneologyForum! Geneologi and Forrest are always ready to help me when I have a problem with getting this information site up and running. And Shamm has been so helpful in trying to get my computer going. I've found a few links among my family there and someday I'm sure there will be more. Check out my favorite links to find out how to join us in this chat room!

I'm sure I've missed some of you, for I know that I never could have done this by myself! Bless you all 8^)
