Heard about your great website from your mom! We became acquainted throught searching the Gempeler line. My gggf was Gilgian Gempeler from Canton Bern in Switzerland, but I am at the brick wall trying to find the province. His wife and 4 of their 5 children settled in Columbiana Co. OH in the 1850's. Their children were Gilgian, John, Emanuel, Louisa, & Eloise (my great grandmother). Keep up the good work! |

Hi Ann. My grandmother was an Eaton from Mills Creek Ind. I will have to pull some hx but the family started in Virgina Tony Eaton in virginia , I believe is where he lives, has been researchingthe family hx. some of our family names are Brudd, huntoon , harper, whiting. My grandma was Neah M. Eaton. whose brothers were Glen, clayton, adrian and not sure who eles off the top of my head. The name stafford is also part of the family. Does any of this fit with what you have? Itwould be fun to find our family . There is a stafford reunion and church in Staffordsville near Trigg, Virginia. They meet every August 17 or the weekend around that date. This year our group from Michigan and Ind will meet in Eaton Rapids , Mich near St Johns, Mich.
