Here are some of the people I am currently working on finding more about:
John and Annamarie Bricker
This is my earliest Bricker ancester. He was born in 1725 and came to the USA before his children were born. I have information that refers to him as a Swiss shepherd and other information that he was from the Poltz (possibly Pfalz) Germany area. I would like any information on his parents and siblings, where he came from, and exactly when he came to this country. My thoughts are that there may have been a name change at that time as is often the case when people came to this country.
Their children were: Jacob, married Rhoda King; Henry; John, born 1753, married Nancy Boyer (this is my line); Susannah, married a Fishbone; Eva, married a Sauers; Mary, married William Swadner; and one other female child, name unknown.
Henry Worman
Father of Anna Worman. Anna was born in 1867 and died in 1932 in LaGrange Co, Indiana. All I have about Henry is that he was married to Augusta Fair. My search for this family has really just begun, so I am sure there is information out there. I have no other children for this family. Am also looking for parents of Heny and Augusta as well as siblings. I think perhaps this is the same Henry Worman who is the son of Samuel and Rachel (Schneider) who I have linked elsewhere with the Brickers. His birthdate would be about right, but I don't have any details on Anna's father.
Josiah Eaton
Born Aug. 2, 1832, died Sept. 9, 1894 in LaGrange Co. IN. Married Rachel Preston , born 1833 in Youngstown, OH. Their children were: Ella S. born 1861; John Edward born 1862; Charles Carlton born 1864 (my line); William born 1866; Alton born 1868. This is another that I am just beginning to search for. I am looking for parents and siblings of Josiah.
Silas Bettes McManus -- Update!
I have information on Silas, but don't know the link to our family. I have a copy of a letter he wrote to Grandma Bricker which was signed -- "your uncle". Grandma's mother was Eva McManus. Here parents were Nelson and Adelaide McManus, and according to her obituray she had a brother Maitland. Eva's grandmother was Fidilia Bettes, youngest daughter of Capt. Nathaniel Bettes who served in the Revolutionary War. I am sure that I am missing siblings in this line.
I found the connection! 8^) -- Silas was a brother to Nelson. Be watching for more McManus information.
Rosetta Leu
Born 1859 and died in 1910. She was married to Rudolph Yunker in 1878. They had the following children: Rudolph Jr. born 1879; Rosetta born 1881; John J. born 1882 (my line); Amiel born 1883; Mary born 1889; Fred born 1890; Mabel born 1894; Howard born 1895. Am looking for parents and siblings of Rosetta.
Eliza M. Milliman -- Updated!
Born Nov. 16, 1862, died June 16, 1932 in LaGrange Co., IN, buried in Pretty Prairie Cemetery, Howe, IN. Married Daniel Milton Kelly Oct. 16, 1883. They had the following children: Mabel born 1885 (my line); Eva Inez born 1887; Edith born 1889; Robert J. born 1898; and an infant born and died in 1901. Am looking for parents and siblings of Eliza.
I found Eliza's obit which gave me her parents names. I was able to locate information at familysearch.com and verify it with the submitter . . . thank you so much Carol! 8^)
Long Family
I am trying to find information on several Longs. I have 3 (Emma, Isaac Newton, and George W.) who were married to Eli Bricker (Emma), Rebecca Bricker (Isaac Newton), and Jemima Armintha Bricker (George W.) who were all children of John F. and Lydia (Sampsell) Bricker. All three of these Bricker siblings were born in the 1850's, Eli and Jemima Armintha were both born in Teegarden, OH. Are the three Long spouses also siblings? I also have a Jacob Bricker born in 1846 who married Ameila Long in 1870. They lived near Paola, Miami Co., KS and all three children that I have for them (Cyrus Asa, William Andrew, and George Lemuel Ellsworth) were born in that area.
